I’m drawn to the quiet, powerful connections between people.
I started my photography business after a lifetime of being drawn to preserving memories and moments. I picked up my first camera around age seven - a film camera I didn’t fully understand, but felt instinctively connected to . From there, I was self-taught, learning through curiosity and instinct. Disposable cameras came next in my pre-teen and teenage years, and eventually a digital camera in college and beyond.
I’ve always been pulled toward documenting life as it unfolds - the human experience in its most honest form. Love, connection, and the quiet, ordinary moments have always been what I reach for first. The ones that linger with me long after everything else fades, and when I am driving home.
My photography is simply an extension of how I live.
Fully present.
Always noticing the everyday magic.
Always desperate not to let the moment slip away unnoticed.
Because for me, it has never been just about taking photos -
it’s about preserving what it felt like to be there.

One of my favorite photography quotes:
All photographs are memento mori. To take a photograph is to participate in another person’s (or thing’s) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time’s relentless melt.
Susan Sontag (1933-2004)

Frequently asked questions
Are travel expenses included?

Travel is included for locations within 50 miles round-trip from my location. For anything beyond that, a travel fee will be added based on distance for miles + tolls. For out-of-state sessions or locations requiring air travel, arrangements are handled on a case-by-case basis.
How does Collection selection work?
After your session, you’ll receive a private unedited gallery where you can view your images in full. You will "heart" the images you want included in your final collection, and from there, you’ll choose the collection [Daydream, Keepsake or Ever After] that feels most aligned with your story.
Where do the sessions take place?

Most sessions take place outdoors, often near the coast or in natural settings that allow for movement and connection. I’m always happy to help choose a location that feels aligned with your vision.
How long does it take to receive the final photos? How much do you edit the images?
Your completed gallery is delivered within 4 weeks of Collection selection.
I edit with a natural approach - focusing on light, color, and tone while keeping your images true to how the moment felt.

What should I wear to my session?

I recommend wearing something that feels like you - comfortable, natural, and easy to move in. Neutrals and soft tones photograph beautifully. Most importantly, you should feel like yourself, so whatever allows you to express yourself, go for it!

What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?

Ah, it's only human! Most people do at first, and that’s completely okay! My approach is gentle and unposed, so you’re not expected to “perform.” I’ll guide you just enough so you can settle in and be yourselves.
Can I order prints, wall art, and albums from my gallery?

Yes, PLEASE! Your images deserve to live beyond a screen. Professional prints and heirloom products are available directly through your gallery, making it easy to preserve your memories tangibly. (I LOVE it when clients send me photos showcasing their memories displayed).
